This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a small team based in Broadwood HQ, Cumbernauld.

Payroll, Pensions & Reward Manager NLL 10/18

Nominal Salary £34,547 to £44,001

Providing essential support to the Head of HR & Payroll, you will be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of all aspects of the payroll function, ensuring that policies, procedures and legislative requirements are adhered to and implemented. You will be responsible for the management and development of the payroll system and continually review processes and working practices to maintain an up to date payroll service, whilst protecting the integrity and security of the section. Working with the Head of HR & Payroll, you will contribute to the development of the organisation's reward strategy by exploring and developing fair, equitable and competitive elements of compensation and benefits which are aligned to the organisation's strategy and business objectives.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, or significant experience in a similar role, you will be a strategic thinker and have a proven track record of delivering payroll services within a similar size organisation. You will have excellent knowledge of payroll rules and legislation and the ability to interpret them effectively and consistently. The ability to prepare and write detailed management reports, excellent IT skills and previous supervisory experience are essential for this post. Knowledge of Local Government terms and conditions of service and experience of developing and implementing payroll systems is particularly desirable.

Pattern of hours: You will be required to work these hours flexibly over 7 days
