Policy Officer (Fixed Term) NLL 30/17
Nominal Salary - £24,327 to £33,580
Reporting to the Business Partnership Manager, you will assist in developing and implementing NLL’s policy and strategy by researching, writing and developing reports. You will work in collaboration with other sections to develop & maintain relationships with various key stakeholders on policy matters.
Educated to degree level, or with equivalent skills and knowledge in this environment, you will have extensive experience and understanding of National and Local strategies/policies relating to Health, Sport, Physical Activity and Wellbeing and a proven ability to network and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and experience of using IT packages, such as Microsoft Office, are essential. You should have the proven ability to research and write accessible, clear policy documents and reports, allowing you the confidence to provide information to senior managers within the organisation.
Pattern of hours: You will be required to work 35 hours flexibly over 7 days.
This post is fixed term for a period of 2 years.
