Procurement Specialist (Fixed Term) NLL 29/17
Nominal Salary - £24,327 to £33,580
Reporting to the Head of Finance & IT, you will assist in the delivery of a comprehensive Procurement Service in accordance with the company’s policies and relevant legislation. You will be responsible for the tendering process for a wide range of commodities for goods and services, including mini competitions (Scottish Government/Local Authority Frameworks) and sub-OJEU/OJEU procurement.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or appropriate degree and experience in the Public or 3rd Sector is desirable for this post. You will have a good knowledge and working experience of preparing reports and be able to progress projects with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and experience of using IT packages, such as Microsoft Office packages, are essential.
Pattern of hours: You will be required to work 35 hours flexibly over 7 days.
This post is fixed term for a period of 2 years.
