Swimming Teacher (13.75 hours) (Fixed Term) NLL 1/18
Nominal Salary £9.60 to £12.42 per hour
Based in Tryst Sports Centre, Cumbernauld, you will ensure the safe and effective operation of the swimming lesson programme, teach and develop appropriate lessons for groups and individuals as well as undertaking promotional and marketing duties in connection with all lessons.
With experience in a leisure facility, you will hold a minimum of an ASA Level 2 Teachers Certificate in Swimming and have experience and an understanding of the health and safety requirements within the leisure industry.
Equally important is your team player attitude as is your ability to work on your own initiative. Possession of excellent communication and customer care skills as well as the ability to comply with the flexible hours associated with the programme are also essential.
As a requirement of this post, the successful candidate must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland. If the successful candidate is currently a PVG Scheme member the cost of a "Scheme Update" of £18 is met by NLL Ltd. If the successful candidate is not a PVG Scheme member the fees for PVG membership of £59 is shared - the successful candidate will pay £41 and NLL Ltd will pay £18.
Pattern of hours: You will be required to work these hours flexibly over 7 days
This post is fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave up to 6 months.
