An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to work alongside a highly motivated and skilled multi- disciplinary team and to be part of an organisation where everyone is passionate about their role in supporting vulnerable children and families.

Notre Dame Centre is seeking to appoint a full time Social Worker. Applicants must possess a relevant qualification in Social Work (Dip SW, Degree or Master’s Degree in Social Work).

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience as well as a proven track record and ability in working with vulnerable children and families. Experience of working within Child and Family services in the statutory or voluntary sector is essential, whilst experience of working in a therapeutic environment is advantageous.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be required on taking up appointment.

The Notre Dame Centre is a non-profit organisation that has been working with children, young people and families for over 90 years, providing evidence based assessment and therapeutic support to those affected by trauma, neglect and abuse. Based in the North of Glasgow, we are commissioned to deliver services on behalf of Glasgow Education, Social Work and NHS Specialist Children’s Services and other Local Authority areas.
