Paths for All is a Scottish Charity. We have a very clear focus. We want to get Scotland walking: Everyone. Everyday. Everywhere.

Our vision is for Scotland to be a walking nation. We want everyone to have the opportunity to be active every day, creating a happier, healthier and greener Scotland. A key element of this work involves supporting communities and networks to make walking part of their everyday life.

Our Walking for Health team deliver and fund evidence-based behaviour change walking programmes in our communities, workplaces, education and care settings, with a focus on working with the least active groups. They work to facilitate and expand the Scottish Health Walk Network to increase activity levels and reduce health inequalities.

As well as being an active member of Paths for All’s Senior Management Team, this role offers the rare opportunity to lead our Walking for Health team and help support more people to be active in their communities. This role will manage and further develop our work relating to the Scottish Health Walk Network, our Workplace, Long Term Condition and Strength and Balance delivery programmes. It will provide leadership to a high performing team, who deliver guidance, training, funding and resources to our large network of partners and stakeholders.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a community/ health/social care development role along with the ability to manage a diverse and complex workload.

We offer the opportunity to be part of an organisation that recognises staff as our most valued asset. Attractive employment conditions include a contributory pension scheme and flexi-time policy. Paths for All has achieved the Healthy Working Lives Gold Award.

The application pack, including information on how to apply, is available on our website www.pathsforall.org.uk/jobs. If you have any difficulty accessing the recruitment documents, please get in touch at recruitment@pathsforall.org.uk

Interviews will be held on Tuesday, 5th October 2021, either at the Stirling office or remotely.
