Are you looking for a role in which you will help to improve the lives of families across Scotland? Do you have the skills and determination to meet and exceed fundraising goals alongside your colleagues?

If you are someone with imagination, talent and expertise, we want to hear from you. You will have a proven ability to build trusting relationships and inspire further support towards the charity, as well as good research skills and record keeping.

It’s an exciting time for the charity as we prepare to launch Standing Tall: A Strategy for Growth 2023 – 2028 to transform the care and support of Huntington’s families, expand specialist services and deepen involvement in clinical research and trials.

This follows two years of significant expansion in our specialist teams, growth in funding, a rise in media engagement, majority parliamentary support for our work, and the success of our ground-breaking Dance 100 event in Glasgow.

The Income Generation team is playing a key role in the delivery of our new strategy and the appointment of our first Corporate Fundraising Officer will enable us to take that vital next step.

The successful applicant will join an ambitious and hard-working organisation dedicated to families living with the challenges of Huntington’s disease, a devastating disease that changes the brain and causes severe and complex physical, mental and cognitive symptoms.

You will find a values-driven organisation, founded by families for families and recognised at national and international levels for its expertise and support delivered through a nationwide network of Huntington’s Disease Specialists, Specialist Youth Advisors and Financial Wellbeing Officers.

Informal enquiries should be made to Senior Fundraising Officer Gemma Powell on 0141 848 0308 or by emailing gemma.powell@hdscotland.org
