Outreach Worker (Central Scotland)

Our outreach team delivers a local information, advice and support service for vision impaired veterans living in Scotland. We are looking for a motivated, caring and organised person to join our team to work with members to identify and meet their individual needs in order to increase and maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

You will work within Central Scotland including Fife and Clackmannanshire and the post will involve considerable travel in order to visit our members in their own homes. If you have an SVQ level 3 Health and Social Care, or a willingness to work toward this qualification or another professional health or social care qualification as well as demonstrable experience of working with older people or adults with a vision impairment, those with other disabilities, mental health or service veterans in the community and this sounds like the role for you please click on Read More to apply or look at the attached document for more information.
