St Mary’s Kenmure is a secure facility that offers a controlled, safe and secure environment for the care and education of young people who are referred from the Courts and Children’s Hearings. Young people from all over Scotland and England come to St Mary’s. We care for 24 young people, in four house units each housing 6 young people

Each young person is entitled to and will receive a high standard of care from a team of experienced and qualified staff who strive to meet their needs and ensure their health and safety. We also offer a wide range of academic and vocational subjects to allow our young people to learn and develop during their stay, along with a variety of recreational facilities including a seven aside football pitch, gymnasium, fitness suite and a swimming pool.

St Mary’s is located in the North of Glasgow in Bishopbriggs. It is in commutable distance for Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Further information about St Mary’s can be found online at www.stmaryskenmure.org.uk

For the role of HR Adviser, we are looking for an organised and forward thinking individual to join our team. You must have a range of both Professional and Personal qualities. You must be self-motivated, work well in a team, with an ability to work independently. Being open minded and having the ability to listen and be sympathetic is crucial to this role. We are looking for someone who has the skills and experience to support the HR Manager and support the growth of the HR Service. You will be skilled in all aspects of employee relations, and have experience of working with Trade Unions. You must meet the essential criteria of the role specification with a minimum of two years’ experience in a HR Environment.

The salary for this post is £35,000 - £39,000 (dependent on experience), and is based on 35 hours per week
