37.5 hours per week – based in Edinburgh
The exciting challenges of this role include being responsible for assisting in the design and delivery of ambitious Community Links projects that enable people to walk, cycle and spend time in safer, more attractive places, working in partnership with the delivery partner to add value and enable best practice in design, community engagement, behavior change and monitoring.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of design and delivery of walking and cycling infrastructure projects, community engagement, project management, including delivering on time and within budget, working with a wide range of partners and resource allocation. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills are essential to build successful working relationships and your motivational attitude will enhance your ability to manage and develop a team. You will also have experience in urban design or a related field and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
