Network Engagement Manager

£30,750 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in Edinburgh

This is a new and exciting opportunity to develop and manage initiatives across Scotland to improve public and professional engagement with the National Cycle Network (NCN). The post holder will lead a team implementing a range of initiatives across Scotland in partnership with communities, public bodies and third sector agencies to drive up awareness and usage of the NCN.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have a proven track record in project management and delivery, in resource planning and in the management and development of staff in different disciplines. You will have experience of community engagement and participatory delivery initiatives along with advocacy and promotional campaigns. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent leadership and motivational skills and a strong background in successful partnership working. You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions. You will have knowledge of the National Cycle Network in Scotland and of behaviour change approaches and best practice and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
