The successful applicant will be based in Contracts House, Dundee, but will be expected to travel and work throughout Tayside. You will be required to attend regular operational site visits to carry out internal audits and workplace assessments.
Tayside Contracts has a temporary Home Working Policy in place as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, meaning some home working may be suggested in the short term.
The Business Improvement Assistant (Environmental) will focus on providing guidance and support on Environmental, Quality and Waste Management within the Construction Division. The post holder will also be required to develop Lean Construction Management skills through applying Business Improvement techniques, although training will be given.
With excellent communication, influencing and presenting skills, you will be a team player who can also work on your own initiative. Ideally educated to degree level in a related subject area and/or with relevant work experience, you will have knowledge of environmental and waste legislation and have the ability to monitor, develop and improve current Environmental and Quality Management systems.
