A Category B driving licence is essential for this post
Dundee City Council and Tayside Contracts wish to appoint a Depute Road Maintenance Partnership Manager to assist in leading and managing the Councils integrated client and contractor road maintenance service.
Applications are sought from road maintenance, civil engineering or construction professionals with extensive experience of project and staff management, along with associated resource and cost control. You must be able to work under pressure and be able to manage a team of professional and technical staff and an operational workforce undertaking the delivery of services including inspection, design, supervision and works delivery. You will have a Degree within an appropriate engineering or construction discipline or relevant HNC. You must be able to lead teams, think and act strategically and be able to meet tight deadlines while dealing with conflicting priorities.
