Health Care Assistants

Based in Aultbea on the West Coast in the Highlands of Scotland, Isle View is a purpose built Nursing Home, registered for up to 25 residents. Set in the midst of stunning scenery, we are a local independent Nursing Home that is well respected in the area. We take great pride in the care we give and the homely atmosphere we create. Our staff are friendly and actively involved in the day to day lives of our residents and many have had relatives at Isle View both as residents and other members of the care team.

We are recruiting for new Health Care Assistants for day or night shifts, part time or full time. Working closely with our Nurses you will work in a small team assisting our residents in maintaining their independence for as long as possible. You will be given training to enable you to assist Nurses with the nursing care of our residents. Access to training and continued professional development opportunities will be given and there are chances to gain qualifications in Health and Social Care. You must be willing to undertake training to SVQ2 level.

Previous experience is an advantage, however, if you don't have care experience, attitude and outlook are equally important to us.

Hours can be negotiated. Successful applicants are required to undertake an enhanced disclosure check, disclosure expense will be met by us. Staff accommodation may be available - please ask. Pay rate £10.50 per hour from April 2022 or higher for more experienced Senior Care Assistants.
