Are you on the look out for a rewarding flexible job where you can make a difference in the lives of others? Look no further as we have a great opportunity for you!

Our Ayrshire relief pool is growing, so we've now got relief job opportunities available in Beith. The great thing about our relief contracts is they give you flexibility. You tell us when you're available and we would then try to give you shifts to fit.

The Role

As a relief colleague, you will play an important part in our team, ensuring that we still provide the best care and support possible during times of staff training, holidays and absence.

The main purpose of your role will be to support a young man with Autism in his own home with all aspects of their daily living, e.g. shopping, finances, cooking, housework and personal care. We are looking for a driver for this position as the young man is out each day. He enjoys going to play golf and has been enjoying other activities such as the arcade and going out longer walks as well as going to parks within his local community

About You

You don't need experience to join our team, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees!

All we need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • Active listening skills
  • Great communication skills
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Confidence in the use of computers
