​​​​​​​We have an exciting pay award of £10.50 per hour pending which will be backdated to 1st April 2022.​​​​​​​


The Role


Jigsaw provides support to children and adults who have a range of disabilities or additional support needs giving vital respite to families. As a Support Worker you will play an essential role in making a positive difference to the lives of the children and young people by supporting them to achieve their goals and have fun. You'll support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and will also assist them to take part in various fun activities such as playing music, doing arts and crafts, cooking, baking and playing games.


Our team pride themselves on working together to make a positive difference. By taking a person centred and outcomes focused approach, you will get to know the people we support as individuals, encourage their independence and help them recognise their potential. As well as working in our fun and friendly team there will be aspects of lone working in your role.

About You

Shift Patterns


Our service runs 9.00am until 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday with shifts that are typically 4-5 hours long.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
