We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and friendly individual to join our wonderful team of Support Workers. You will be located in our day centre and work with a team of staff and volunteers supporting individuals who have a diagnosis of dementia. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of working in a support environment but this is not essential. With the ability to understand the needs of older people with dementia you will effectively contribute towards the provision of a relaxed, fun and caring environment within a framework that promotes independence and individual choice. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with those around you is essential.
