Exceptional Care in Challenging Times

Our clear purpose has always been, and remains, to deliver exceptional care. The health, safety, and wellbeing of all our residents and staff is always our top priority and we are continuing with our robust and comprehensive response to Coronavirus. Our plans are kept under regular review and are updated as and when advised by the public health authorities.

We continue to simply be in awe of the personal sacrifices our front-line teams have made to ensure the health and wellbeing of our amazing residents, which remains our number one priority during this crisis.

While we continue to navigate our way through these unprecedented times, I want to reassure you that we have worked incredibly hard to ensure:

• We are welcoming new residents with a safe admission policy

• Our vaccination programme is making fantastic progress

• We regularly test both our staff and residents

• We maintain a robust infection control procedure with enhance cleaning regimes

• Where and when it is possible to do so, that we have are able to hold safe essential visits

At Haddington, we provide exemplary standards of Nursing, Residential and Dementia Care in purpose-designed accommodation.

Each floor is dedicated to a different area of care with the top floor for Nursing, middle floor for Dementia and the bottom floor for Residential. We understand residents may have a preference as to which floor they would like to be on, however, this decision can only be made once individual needs have been discussed.

We work hard to maximise the potential of each resident enabling them to lead a fulfilling and comfortable life. Our team are fully trained to understand and deal with all aspects of Dementia, and we take pride in providing the highest levels of care and respect for every individual.

Every member of staff receives training in dealing with stress and distress so they are fully equipped to support residents through any difficult times.

We regard our home as a ‘home for life’ and are confident and comfortable in tailoring the provision of care according to each resident’s need, for example should you initially require Residential care, but Nursing or Dementia care become essential over the course of your stay
