Female* Personal Assistant (Support Worker)

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Job Details

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to join an existing team for a 25 year old lady that we support for 20+ hours per week in Granton, Edinburgh. We are seeking a female to work alongside an existing team of 5.

This would be a 20+ hour contract. The shift pattern would be 10 am to 3 pm with a view to being flexible within the team who plan their own rotas together and also cover annual leave, to include a sleepover. The team work together to plan, and the successful candidate would also be part of this.

About this opportunity

She has a bespoke team of 5 ladies and is supported 24/7. She has 2-1 support for activities which include days out, day service attendance and occasional breaks away.

It is essential that she has a consistent and structured approach to her support. It is important that she has positive life experiences, and is safe and secure in the support she receives. It is paramount that she continues developing relationships, both existing and new, and living an independent life.
