I need two enthusiastic and energetic people to join my great team of supportive assistants who help me live life to the full and do all the things I enjoy doing.

My interests include:

  • dancing
  • horse riding
  • going to the gym
  • shopping
  • walking
  • theatre
  • cinema
  • seeing friends and family
  • swimming

I am very close to my mum and dad, love animals and enjoy art - I occasionally sell and display my work. I also like tai-chi and relaxation.

What am I looking for?

  • You will need to be flexible, calm and caring (but not smothering!) with initiative and the willingness to think and plan ahead.
  • A good sense of humour and the confidence to help me cope with my regular seizures are also important.
  • I have a wheelchair, which I use when necessary, but I am mobile and use a walker with the help from my team I can do many tasks for myself.
  • Being as independent as possible is important to me but you will need to help me with routine tasks like dressing, personal care and cooking.
  • I also need a confident driver as it’s important to me to get out and about every day in my own car.

Could you be the person to support me?

If so we offer excellent training and the chance to be part of a brilliant team and a wider organisation that actively encourages you to develop your skills and knowledge. We offer a truly worthwhile career and I’d love to hear from you."
