Have you ever thought about a building a rewarding career in the Care Sector, or do you currently work in care and would like to progress onto a role as a Senior?

Trust Housing Association has a fantastic opportunity to join our Care at Home team in Edinburgh working with our tenants at our Bingham Drive and Corstorphine services.

Why work for Trust Housing Association?

· You will be working for an exciting company, well respected in the sector with a great future and a fantastic team.

· Working shifts which may work better around your life and priorities, rather than the standard 9-5

· Meaningful work which makes a real difference to people’s lives and provides a real sense of pride

· All training provided.

Our care at home service provides support to older and vulnerable adults in their own home with daily living tasks.

As a Senior Care at Home Worker, you will manage a small team of Care at Home Workers supporting them to provide a high quality and friendly service. You will still have the fulfilment of being hands on as the role is split into 12 hours of staff management duties and 24 hours delivering support to our tenants.

Senior Care at Home Workers work on a 2-week rota with alternating weekends. Support is carried out between the hours of 730am and 1030pm so no sleepovers or nightshifts. Our Senior work 4 days one week and 3 days the next giving them 7 days off a fortnight.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: -

· £10.95 - £11.84 per hour

Benefits include:

· Access to paid training and vocational qualification. Earn while you learn!

· Generous holiday entitlement

· Paid PVG check

· Pension Scheme

· Employee counselling service

What we’re looking for in our Senior Care at Home Worker:

Skills and Experience:

You will have a passion for delivering support to older or vulnerable members of the community. You will be caring, compassionate, dedicated and an excellent team player.

Previous supervisory experience is desirable, however if you are ready to make a step up to a senior role and manage a small team of people then we would love to hear from you.

An SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to achieve this qualification is also required to comply with the registration/timescale requirements of the SSSC. It’ll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you’ll bring to this important role.
