Peripatetic Manager in Out of School Care Services

Area Manager – 30 hours per week - £25900 - £27750 pro rata depending on experience and qualifications.

This post is a registered Manager of Day Care of Children Services with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). The successful applicant needs to be able to register as a Manager and either have a relevant qualification or work towards them as soon as possible after coming into the post.

The Area Manager has up to 5 after school clubs to manage and joint management of the holiday club. Managing staff in each of the clubs to develop themselves and the service they deliver is the core of this role. The post needs a leader who can coach the potential in staff, develop their strengths and encourage an improvement and growth ethos, embedding quality and then looking for the next growth area to improve the service.

A passion for Children’s rights, encouraging children’s participation and fun is a must. The ability to work in a changeable environment and the pressures this brings is essential.

We are a Falkirk based charity delivering School Age Childcare in the area. We cater for children from 14 of the Falkirk Primary Schools with after school clubs and holiday clubs.
