Job Description

Based at Inverkeilor Primary School, 22 Station Road, Inverkeilor, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

You will work directly with children and young people with a range of additional support needs in mainstream and resourced base provision. You will support children with their learning targets through developing positive and supportive relationships.

In addition, you will undertake a range of duties including supervising and assisting children, according to their needs, throughout the school day. You may be required, under the direction of the teacher, to prepare classroom resources and activities to support learning.

Inverkeilor Primary School is set in a rural village near the sea, situated midway between the two towns of Arbroath and Montrose. There are four mainstream classes and the school also has its own nursery. The school vision, values and aims were co-created by pupils, staff and families and are encompassed in our motto: ‘Learning Success on the Inverkeilor Express’. This job is temporary until no later than 27 June 2025.
