Our HR Business Partners are a critical link between HR and OD and the wider organisation and provide expert advice and support to departments in relation to matters such as HR data analysis, people-related matters contributing to service operations, service redesign and review.

We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner to support our department which provides the following services:-

  • Customer Support Services
  • Development and Economic Growth
  • Financial Services
  • Road and Infrastructure Services

As an HR Business Partner you will:-

  • Support designated services to achieve their performance objectives by acting as internal consultant providing and coordinating appropriate HR and OD support and advice
  • Lead and manage the roll out of corporate / organisational change projects
  • Contribute to the development, review and evaluation of HR and OD Policies, procedures and frameworks, taking a lead role where appropriate

You will be, or will be eligible to be, a Chartered Member of CIPD who can clearly evidence your experience of developing positive partnerships, leading HR review projects and analysing and presenting complex data in a local government setting or similarly large and complex organisation. We operate hybrid working arrangements and consequently this post will require an element of attendance at meetings and team activities in Lochgilphead and other locations in Argyll and Bute, therefore the successful applicant will require to evidence how they would achieve this.
