An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineer role within a project team to assist in the planning and delivery of the Communal bin review project.
This project is aiming to increase and improve recycling services to residents in multi-occupancy and flatted properties providing integrated waste and recycling services (each location aiming to have residual waste, recycling, food waste and glass) and review the existing bin locations to develop more formalised collection hubs to improve the perception of the service and enhance the street scene.
As an Engineer you will be part of the Communal Bin Review Project Team collaborating with several key Council departments - Roads, Parking, Planning and Transport.
You will be responsible for the management of the procurement and implementation of road works associated with the creation of on street bin hubs including undertaking and manage detailed design work, coordinate the contract administration and project management (i.e. specification, work orders and tenders), inspecting, monitoring and supervision of construction works ensuring compliance with the specification, coordinate the work in relation to TTRO, TTRN to ensure the safe and smooth installation of the bin hub corralling.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
