Training Assistant, Lewis (7958)

37 hours per week, Fixed term to 31 March 2025

£26,760 to £27,030 per annum (inclusive of £2,742 Distant Islands Allowance per annum)

 

You will assist in the organisation and administration of the delivery of training and employability support to those participating on UKSPF funded work placements. This will include the ongoing monitoring and direction of employment and training activities and the provision of participant support.

You must have training/experience/interest in delivering employability learning and/or carrying out vocational profiling and job coaching and be educated to higher level or equivalent or be willing to undertake the necessary training.

You must have training/experience/interest in provision of guidance to adults.

Candidates must have the ability to assist in the delivery/facilitating learning workshops in formal/informal settings and demonstrable knowledge of training methods appropriate to the needs of adults.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children and adults.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.  Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
