Based at Wellgate Day Support Service you will work full time, 37 hours per week on temporary basis for 6 months.
Wellgate Day Support Service Team delivers a service provided by the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership and is registered with the Care Inspectorate to provide Housing Support and Care at Home to individuals who have a Learning Disability and complex needs.

You will have Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent, SVQ 4, a full nursing qualification or Allied Health Professional qualification.
A qualification in managing care or be willing to undertake one.
Applicants should be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (or equivalent body)
To provide professional leadership as first line manager with day to day operational management responsibility for a team or teams of staff delivering front line social work services, whilst ensuring high standards of practice parameters and service provision are maintained.
You will have proven experience of working in the area of disability and have experience of management of Health and Safety matters, including risk management/ assessment. You will be familiar with equalities legislation and have experience in a supervisory/management position.
You will have excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills along with motivational skills. Budget management skills, strategic thinking and workload management are also essential.
You also have the ability to reflect on/analyse situations.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
