Based in Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
Dundee City Council is committed to supporting youth employment through its employability agenda and are seeking to offer unemployed or underemployed graduates the opportunity to gain experience on a temporary basis for 12 months.
This graduate work experience opportunity is focused to target unemployment in the Dundee area and only available for candidates aged 24 and under. You will be educated to Degree level in a relevant subject , and you will have graduated within the last 3 years.
You will undertake a 12 month work experience placement to assist the service to develop and analyse relevant people data and help to review and improve existing systems, you will ensure consistent information is available for managers and employees to support current and future working practices and workforce planning and change.
You will have knowledge and understanding in analysis with an ability to interpret and present data accordingly.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively through a variety of methods, including oral, written and social media. You will have ICT skills, database and spreadsheet skills. You will also have a willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as necessary.
You will be flexible and proactive with attention to detail and accuracy, you will have the ability to work as part of a team and to work on your own initiative as required.
