Location: Various throughout Fife

It is an exciting time to practice within Children and Families in Fife as we seek to deliver ‘The Promise’.

Fife has invested into services and as such we know we can support Social Workers to have smaller caseloads ensuring they can work creatively and innovatively with families. We have a strong ambition to support children to stay within their families and in their communities.

We can offer all Social Workers a diverse induction, access to a range of learning and training opportunities, coaching and mentoring as well as the support and supervision needed to develop practitioners. We offer a comprehensive induction, extensive training plan, group supervision and the opportunity to undertake post qualifying courses to enhance skills, knowledge and career progression. By investing in our staff, we invest in the children and families who receive our services.

We remain committed to ensuring that we achieve the best outcomes for all the children we support.

In Fife we put children at the centre of everything we do, and we invite applications from candidates who will share our enthusiasm.

If you are a qualified Social Worker and wish to have a career in supporting children, young people and their families in a statutory setting then a career in children’s social work service in Fife awaits you. We have a high level of support and supervision for NQSW and offer the opportunities for experienced staff to develop their careers. We support continued professional development with the opportunity to undertake post qualifying courses, as well as protected time for supervision, including group supervision, aimed towards developing practice. We seek to offer a creative training programme to support our workforce to be trauma informed.
