LES Driver 2 (Term Time) - 3 Posts - (Temporary), (Part-Time)

Job Description

You will be responsible for the safe transportation of passengers and goods to and from Education and Social Services establishments.  

Knowledge of traffic regulations and of the City of Glasgow areas and street names is essential together with good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience of transporting passengers is desirable.    

A full current small manual passenger carrying vehicle driving licence, which is Category D1 and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence is essential.  

* Please note that appointment will be subject to medical checks in respect of fitness for the role and satisfactory completion of a drivers assessment.

** Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note the successful candidate for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

Hours of Work: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Term Time)
