LES Operative 2 (Fixed Term)

Job Description

 Duties will involve assisting with the delivery of a range of tasks covering the general maintenance of highways, properties, open spaces, inland waterways and parks.  You will also assist higher graded operatives / tradesmen with more skilled work.  Good communication skills, an ability to deal with the public and work within a team are essential.  Previous experience of labouring and operating equipment is advantageous although full training will be provided. The location is city wide and candidates must be prepared to work at any Depot location as required.  Hours of work are 37 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs and Friday 08:00hrs to 15:30hrs.  

This post is fixed term for a period up to 31st March 2026.
