Job Description
The post holder will support the development and implementation of Glasgow’s Resource and Recycling Strategy (RRS) 2020-30.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
•Implementation and regular review of the action plan within the RRS
•Providing advice and support to senior management regarding policy and legislation which will impact the Resource and Recycling sector
•Development, monitoring and review of internal waste and recycling policies
•Reviewing relevant Scottish and UK waste and resource policies and the impact this may have on the Council and the services provided
