ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Salary - £24,169.60 - £25,516.40 per annum

 

Applications are invited for this full-time permanent post. The post will be based at the Board's headquarters in Moray House, 16-18 Bank Street, Inverness.

You will assist in the delivery of major projects including the annual canvass of electors and elections. Outwith these periods, you will act as a day-to-day contact for IT issues, update websites, deal with queries from electoral canvassers and members of the public. You will also assist with updating various documentation, assist with IT set-up and handling issues related to IT. You should also be able to deal effectively with change due to legislation changes or changes in business needs.

You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills along with a general standard of education together with relevant and substantial experience in an administrative/clerical team-based environment. You should have excellent ICT skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

You will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure check.
