Job Description

Post Title: Crematorium Operative/Gravedigger
Location
: Kilvean Cemetery, Inverness
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term 12 months
Salary: £24,935- £27,436 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To undertake, either individually or as part of a team, all duties involved in the cremation and burial of the dead.

Requirements

Valid driving licence.

Possession of a recognised cremation related qualification. Consideration will be given to candidates with a willingness to undertake approved training to achieve a recognised cremation related qualification within a one year timescale from appointment.
