Working at Midlothian Council’s newest leisure facility your responsibilities will include the opening and closing of the facility, cash handling and reconciliation, supervising Leisure Assistant team members, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements including enhanced Covid cleaning procedures, equipment set-ups for community groups and parties and ensuring all customers have the best possible experience.  

KNOWLEDGE

Educated to Higher Grade level or equivalent with excellent communication and customer care skills, together with an understanding of Health and Safety Legislation within a leisure environment, is essential. Jobholders must also be comfortable at using initiative and decision making.

Previous experience of supervising and organising staff and a current First Aid Certificate is desirable.

Based on you working 16.50 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £9,160.72 per annum.
