Business & Digital has created a new role of Corporate Lead Analyst to develop a corporate view of data and information and support the development of the data architecture for delivery of our Business Intelligence Hub and supporting other activities identified through the Data and Information Management Strategic Roadmap. You will work with services and partners to promote the use of data and intelligence as a key tool to inform the development of policy and strategies offering best practice and quality assurance support.

Supporting the Data Insights Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of key aspects of our roadmap of data, business and technology change aligned with the strategic Digital North Lanarkshire vision. You will require flexibility, adaptability and resilience as the BI Hub and data governance programmes evolve. It should present an exciting and exhilarating challenge, conceiving, driving and defining a major innovation roadmap of data, business and technology change aligned with the strategic Digital North Lanarkshire vision. You should have considerable experience of managing projects to achieve goals; supporting the development and review of policies and strategies; together with good analytical skills and the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

You must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and be educated to degree/SVQ4/HND standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline, ideally with an understanding of the council’s current organisational structure and composition of the workforce.

You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team within Business & Digital who currently operate an hybrid model of home-working and office-based work at the Civic Centre offices in Motherwell.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
