Property Services, Pullar House, Perth

The Building Clerk of Works role involves the site inspection of construction works on a diverse range of Capital and Revenue funded construction works and on a range of Council non-domestic properties.

The post holder will expect to be involved in several major projects and smaller planned projects at any one time and required to attend sites for inspection meetings and the like on a regular basis.

All Council new buildings are being constructed to a low carbon standard with challenging design and construction processes to manage.

The Individual

The post holder should have a depth of knowledge in construction detailing, processes and materials and be able to problem solve at site level to assist the Design team in delivering quality.

Experience of site based inspection and reporting in a clear and concise manner is essential. A knowledge of low carbon design, materials and processes  will be desirable.

The post holder must have the ability to communicate effectively with project participants at all level, be responsive and understanding of a wide range of views.
