Summer Student, Roads Maintenance Partnership PKC11317
£22,524 Fixed Term (until 6 September 2024)
2 Posts, Based in Perth
The Road Maintenance Partnership is looking for two enthusiastic Summer Students to work out of the Perth office, to provide assistance to existing staff carrying out the statutory duties of Perth & Kinross Council as Roads Authority. You will be involved with carrying out assessments on roadside trees and compiling condition details. You may also be involved with carrying out routine road and footway inspections. You will have good people/computer skills and be able to work in a small team. You should be studying towards a qualification (Degree/ HND/ HNC) in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Civil Engineering or the Built Environment. Experience of tree assessment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential for this post.
