This is a 38 week post, working hours will be during school term only, the salary will be pro-rated accordingly. Please note the salary advertised is full time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year).

Role Purpose

Assist the cook in the Unit to ensure that the specified service delivery is met. Cover in absence of cook in the day to day running of the Unit. Ensure that compliance of all Health & Safety and current legislation is met.

Essential

City and Guilds 706/2 or SVQ Food Preparation and Cooking Level 2/3
Or
Demonstrate significant experience in a Food Preparation and Cooking role and must be willing to achieve an SVQ Food Preparation and Cooking Level 2 within two years of joining the Council
