The Environmental Liaison Officer is responsible, through the Heritage Manager, for the
provision of Environmental Liaison to the Council and the community and for the
Secretariat and representation of the Board of Kommunenes Internasjonale
Miljøorganisasjon (KIMO).
The post holder is responsible for the preparation and development of policy and the
provision of guidance and advice relating to all of the functions undertaken by the
Secretariat and the Service within the remit of the post; s/he also contributes to other
Departmental or Council strategies. The post holder will have a role in ensuring
compliance with KIMO and Council policy.
