West Dunbartonshire Council has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated ICT Support Administrator within our dynamic team. While the role profile is generic for ICT Support administrator ( across the wider ICT teams ) this role will be specifically assigned to the Device team . As a key member of our ICT support service you’ll be the first point of contact for resolving hardware and software issues across our organisation and assist with all administration tasks for the wider ICT teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing prompt and effective technical assistance to users via phone, email or in-person.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems for desktops, laptops and mobile devices.

• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams while maintaining clear communication with end users.

• Assist in setting up new devices, software installations and user accounts.

• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions and procedures.
