Workplace Assessor - Insulation & Building Treatments - EC00901/LF

Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the post of Workplace Assessor in Insulation and Building Treatments to co-ordinate and assess the Modern Apprenticeship programs within the curriculum area.

This role involves providing support to both apprentices and employers throughout their course of study, as well accurately assessing apprentices work to ensure it meets the awarding body standards. The role also involves liaising with potential new employers to promote the colleges apprenticeship program.

Educated to SVQ3 in either Plastering, Roofing or Carpentry and Joinery is required with further training and qualifications offered to successful candidate in Insulation and Building Treatments due to this being a new qualification the sector.

Assessor’s and verifiers qualification would also be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
