The VISA Team are a dedicated team of ethical and professional immigration specialists, who are committed to the quality delivery of an authentic student support service through positive engagement. Providing visa and immigration advice and promoting the continued duty of care owed to all, as we strive to enhance both the student and staff experience. The VISA Team support students to be compliant under their Student visa status and ensures the university is compliant under its UKVI licences, supporting colleagues across departments in adhering to the university’s sponsor duties and responsibilities.

This VISA Officer post is a new role within the team created to provide expert advice and support to student and staff, expanding our professional services and specialist visa and immigration provision.  Joining the VISA Advisors providing a high-standard of excellence and enhancing the student experience, the VISA Officer will support the delivery of Checkpoint, Graduate Route Reporting and Post-Progression and Awards Boards (PPAB) visa review, extending support to both students and staff, across campuses.

We are looking for a highly organised and problem-solving individual who has a demonstrated history of working in a high-demand area, managing multiple priorities within tight timescales who will positively and creatively contribute to enhancing service delivery for all our service users. The successful candidate will have experience of working with international students and a working knowledge of International (and EU) Student Immigration, the post-holder will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to uphold the VISA Team’s vision of providing an and professional support service. A confident and compassionate individual and a team-player is desired to balance delivery of student support while playing a key support role in university’s maintenance of our UKVI Sponsor Licences.
