Teacher of Modern Languages (Spanish and French - 0.4FTE)

Founded in 1878, Kelvinside Academy is an independent, HMC co-educational day school for around 600 pupils aged from 3-18 in the West End of Glasgow. It combines high standards of teaching and a superb extra-curricular programme within an inclusive and caring ethos. Results in public examinations are well above the national average. Pupils are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities for personal development through sport, music, drama, outdoor pursuits and clubs. There is very strong participation in the Combined Cadet Force and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

We seek a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Spanish and French to teach from Junior School up to Senior 6.

Modern Languages (Spanish and French) operates within the Language Faculty. The Faculty team of 10 is led by a Head of Faculty, and a Deputy Head with specific responsibility for delivery of the curriculum in Modern Languages.

The post which is a part-time (0.4FTE) would suit either a new or an experienced teacher.
