Job Description

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL POST

Lecturer in Process and Control (Ref. No. L706)
Full Time/Permanent/Aberdeen Altens Campus
Salary: £35,170.00 - £43,357.00 per annum (pay award pending – current offer additional £3.5K per annum)

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic person with industry experience and a passion for teaching who are keen to pass on their highly developed skills and knowledge to our Engineering students.

 

The ideal candidate should be qualified to degree or equivalent level in Engineering and have relevant industrial experience.

Experience of teaching and motivating learners to succeed would be an advantage.

Excellent communication and social skills are key aspects of the role, along with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students and colleagues.

You should also be willing to work towards a TQFE (Teaching Qualification in Further Education) once employment has commenced if you do not already hold a relevant teaching qualification.

  8. * GTC registration
