West College Scotland is modern, ambitious and innovative.

Created on 1 August 2013 by the merger of Clydebank College, Reid Kerr College in Paisley and James Watt College in Greenock, the College has 30,000 students and 1,200 staff, making it one of the biggest educational institutions in the country.

We are an enterprising college, with partners from across the globe, including China, Vietnam, Finland and Brazil. We offer a huge range of courses – full-time, part-time, evening and distance learning – all designed to help our students get a job, keep a job or get a better job and to help businesses with their training needs.

Since merger, and led by our staff, we have developed a distinct set of values and behaviours. These describe a College where people are respected at their work, which has a “can-do” approach to everything it does but which, above all, is student-focused.

Our generous terms and conditions reflect this outlook making West College Scotland an extremely rewarding organisation to be a part of.
