Do you have expertise in working with families with young children and who are experiencing significant challenges at home and/or in school? Are you keen to work enthusiastically, creatively, and flexibly to support families? We would like to hear from you.

Barnardo's Youth Involvement and Family Support Service works with families who have children aged mainly between 0 – 12. Your role would be to help and support them and their families to help them remain and thrive within their communities.

We are looking for people with:

  • Knowledge/skills and experience of working with children and families with a range of complex needs and issues, including child protection.
  • Experience of working in partnership, with a range of agencies.

Our service operates flexibly, 7 days per week to respond to the needs of our families and we are looking for candidates who are interested in working full-time or part-time. We would also be prepared to consider flexible working arrangements.
