Beannachar provides outstanding support and guidance to young people across Aberdeen, giving them the skills to lead as independent a life as possible.

Beannachar aims to create a therapeutic integrated environment within which the young person can find the support and guidance they need to develop their full potential in maturing from adolescence to adulthood. Situated within 28 acres of spectacular countryside on the edge of Aberdeen, two miles from the city centre, Beannachar is a community of approximately 60 people: 20 residential students and 18 day students with a staff team of both long-term and shorter-term co-workers. There are a number of employed members of the community including house co-ordinators, maintenance and administration support and workshop leaders.

Everyone at Beannachar works hard to maintain exceptionally high standards and the excellent reports received from the Care Inspectorate.
