Year of Kindness Project Manager, Dundee

35 hours per week, fixed term for 18 months

DVVA are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to work alongside us and in collaboration with a range of agencies and organisations in Dundee. The postholder will be responsible for leading and coordinating initiatives and activities related to the "Year of Kindness" programme in alignment with the findings and recommendations outlined in the Dundee Drugs Commission's report, "Time for Kindness, Compassion, and Hope: The Need for Action Two Years On." This role will play a crucial part in fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and hope within the community and addressing the challenges associated with substance use and stigma in Dundee, working within the wider context of Protecting People, and taking a trauma-informed perspective to all work undertaken.

Ideally you’ll have experience of networking with a variety of partners and stakeholders as well as supporting the engagement of people with lived experience. You’ll be able to balance the differing needs and expectations of those you are working with to facilitate successful working relationships and outcomes. Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject, and with significant working experience, you’ll have experience of project management and co-production.
