Four Square Scotland is an Edinburgh charity working for more than 40 years to prevent and resolve homelessness and promote inclusion. We provide services to people who are homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness to overcome any barriers they may face in creating a stable life for themselves in their community. Each year we provide services to over 1000 people.

We are proud to work collaboratively across our services and with many voluntary and statutory sector partners to offer a holistic service which aims to help people achieve a secure and positive future. Our support helps people to improve their confidence and resilience; the ability to form healthy relationships; mental and physical health; economic circumstances and access to employment, training or education. Our services include supported accommodation, move-on flats, women in recovery services, housing support, employability services and counselling.

We also work with universities and other educational providers to offer student placements for social work, counselling and art therapy students.

Alongside our support services and student placement programme we have social enterprises, which provide independent income for our charity as well as volunteering and training opportunities for those who use our services.

At the core of Four Square are the values on which the organisation is based. These are equally applied to the people we support, our colleagues and our partners and are: Integrity; Excellence; Dignity and; Support. We are driven by our mission to ensure everyone has the opportunity to have a home and a place in their community.
